“Small space hits double figures”

Help celebrate their 10th birthday

In celebration of ten years of business, leading contemporary jewellery gallery and work shop, Small Space Jewellery will open an exhibition on Saturday 20th November 2010.

Celebrations will take place between 12 – 5pm @ 365a St Georges Road Fitzroy North. The exhibition will run until the 4th of December.

The theme, “Double Figures” will feature the work of owner Robyn Wernicke, who has created a series of pieces reflecting significant events in her life over the last ten years. Work will also be shown by local, established and emerging artists including Julie Carter and Susan Ewington.

With over twenty five years as a jeweller and designer Robyn Wernicke opened Small Space in 1990 in Fitzroy North’s hidden arts shopping precinct. Aptly naming the space small, once an early 20th century laneway, now a home for the contemporary and handmade.

Double figures will be sure to surprise, so drop in to celebrate this decade of design and contribution to Melbourne’s unique arts culture.
